Neglect Campaign

Greenwich Safeguarding Children Board (GSCB) and the NSPCC have launched a Neglect Matters campaign aimed at raising awareness of the signs and symptoms of neglect and its impact on children and young people, as well as ensuring children, young people, families, professionals and the wider community are aware of sources of support and advice.

Local professionals and residents will see a series of posters and information resources in key venues around the borough, helping people to recognise neglect scenarios, encouraging those who need support to reach out for help and urging anyone with concerns about a child to contact the NSPCC Helpline on 0808 800 5000. The GSCB and NSPCC will also be working with professionals and communities via children’s centres, community groups, health venues, local businesses and religious venues in the borough.
