Review processes

The Greenwich Safeguarding Children Partnership is committed to supporting a mutual and reflective learning culture within and across all partners. We want to use this culture to bring about changes that will lead to an improved practice system for children and families and a reduction in child abuse and neglect.

We know that because of the nature of child abuse, children may die or be seriously harmed even when practice is excellent and, in some cases, despite the excellent work being done by front line staff. We recognise that there is always room for learning and improvement and that there are situations where errors or failings within the system, or by individuals, may contribute to challenges in safeguarding children.
